Program of study

FIMS MBA program is fully residential and coeducational. The two-year program is designed and delivered to cover all functional courses besides specialization courses in Finance , Human Resource , and Marketing Management. FIMS MBA Program is accredited by AICTE and the degree is awarded by the University of Calicut.

FIMS offers super-specialty certificate courses in Finance & Treasury Management; Operations Management; Retailing Management; and Supply Chain Management. Besides FIMS offers two Foreign Language courses like German, Japanese, French and Arabic. These courses enhance the employability of our students considerably. 

Unique and Effective Pedagogy
FIMS emphasizes on academic and intellectual rigour for holistic development of students. The pedagogy is so designed as to be proactive and to encourage active student interaction.

The curriculum combines the best from conventional and modern learning methodology – a combination of lectures, group discussions, case analysis, project assignments and presentations, management games, role play, etc. Latest database, internet and software packages help students in their work in a big way.

FIMS ensures that students not only internalize the concepts and domain knowledge adequately but also becomes competent in applying them in actual business situations. Latest developments in various fields are incorporated in the curriculum and their practical implications are highlighted through analyses of appropriate case studies in the classroom.

Besides covering syllabus as prescribed by the University of Calicut, FIMS offers additional inputs to enhance the knowledge of students in consultation with practicing managers and faculty of other reputed management institutions.
