Prof. Rajesh Janardhanan Associate Professor in Finance has CA from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, MBA (Finance & HR) from DC School of Management & Technology Vagamon (MG University), and M.Com (Finance) from the University of Kerala. Has more than 25 years of experience in Finance & Audit field with leading Chartered Accountancy firms, Tax Consultancy firms and MNCs in India; of which 16 years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in reputed B-Schools in India. Industry experience constitutes the roles as Internal Auditor of Tourism Department, Republic of Maldives and Rubber Board-Kottayam and Assistant HR Manager – (Recruiting) in MICO-BOSCH- Bangalore.
He had presented various papers in many International and National level conferences at various IIM’s and published research articles in ISSN, ISBN, e-journals like EBSCO and IIM International proceedings. His research paper titled “A study on the patterns of Corporate Governance and the position of Indian companies in the quest for CG” among Indian Corporate Listed in NIFTY and SENSEX; presented at IIM Calcutta, during the year 2009 was selected as one of the best three research papers presented and published for their First Annual International Finance Conference- “On Financial Regulation and Corporate Governance”. Another research work titled “An exploration into Environmental Sustainability issues in God’s Own Country” presented and published paper at IIM Shillong for their Second Annual International Conference on “Sustainability- SUSCON 2011: People Planet and Prosperity”, is included in the list of best 10 papers published for the year 2011 by St. Gallen, Switzerland.
His latest research Paper titled, “Exploring into the New Dimensions of David Durand’s Capital Structure Theories and its reverse effectiveness” has been awarded First prize and Merit certificate along with cash award for the Best Finance Research paper presented at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Management Studies for their “Annual International Conference on Leadership, Governance and Strategic Management” held on February 2nd& 3rd of 2018. Undergone various training programs, workshops, FDPs and MDP’s conducted by MNC’s like Bosch, Germany, IIM’s and International organizations like UNIDO. Had Invented and practiced Simulation type games in Accounting and Finance with the name “Finopoly” and “Business Portfolio Dynamics” for which he had applied for registered Trademark and Patent with Mattel Inc. USA.
