The FIMS ED Club proudly hosted LEAN PLANS 2025 – THE FINAL PITCH, a flagship event that brought together the best of creativity, strategy, and entrepreneurial thinking. Designed to simulate a real-world pitching environment, the competition challenged MBA students to present viable, innovative, and scalable business ideas using lean startup principles.
The event served as the culmination of weeks of preparation, mentoring, and brainstorming by the participating teams. The final pitch round saw students delivering compelling business proposals to a panel of expert Sharks who evaluated the ideas based on feasibility, innovation, business potential, and presentation.
We were honored to have a stellar judging panel that included Dr. Ahamed Riaz K (Director, FIMS), Mr. Mohammed Thalib PK, and Mr. Mohammed Shafeeq—Senior Research Scholars from Farook College. Their deep insights, critical questioning, and encouraging feedback added great value to the student learning experience.
After an intense session of presentations, two teams emerged victorious:
First Prize: Danish, Mohammed Fahis, Benjamin & Akash – for their outstanding clarity, team synergy, and execution-ready pitch.
Runners-Up: Faris Abdul Azeez & Shihab IT – for their focused and impactful business concept that stood out for its simplicity and potential.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony and a note of appreciation to all participants for their enthusiasm and professionalism. It was an inspiring day marked by confident presentations, entrepreneurial energy, and valuable takeaways for all.
Events like these are part of FIMS’ commitment to nurturing future business leaders through experiential learning, collaborative thinking, and innovation-driven challenges.
