Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) organized a three-day Soft Skills Development Training Program from April 22 to 24, 2025, at the MDP Hall. Conducted in association with the Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission and the Digital Workforce Management System, the program was designed to enhance the employability of MBA students by equipping them with essential soft skills.
The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Jijoy Joseph, a seasoned Personality Development Trainer from the Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission. The training adopted an experiential learning approach, engaging students through role plays, real-time group activities, discussions, and reflective exercises. This hands-on methodology allowed students to internalize the importance of communication, leadership, adaptability, and emotional intelligence in professional settings.
This initiative aligns with FIMS’s commitment to holistic student development and industry-oriented learning. By focusing on practical skill-building alongside academic rigor, the program enabled students to explore and enhance their interpersonal competencies—preparing them for interviews, internships, and workplace interactions with greater confidence and self-awareness.
