Continuing the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of the Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS), the institute proudly hosted the “Reconnect – FIMSIANS Homecoming Series: Entrepreneurial Insights” on 3rd December 2024 at 3:00 PM. This session brought together successful entrepreneurs from the FIMS alumni community to share their experiences, challenges, and lessons learned in building and managing their own ventures.
The event featured six inspiring alumni entrepreneurs: Mr. Thanzeer TM (Managing Director, Guven Exim Pvt Ltd – FIMS MBA 2005-07), Mr. Rijas VT (Managing Director, Malabar Eco Plast – FIMS MBA 2013-15), Mr. Abdul Vahdood (Managing Partner, Geeyem Bags & Geeyem Trading – FIMS MBA 2013-15), Mr. Rahul M (MD, MS Gold; Rahul Jewellery; Madhurima Gold & Diamonds – FIMS MBA 2014-16), and Mr. Akhith A (Co-founder, Jango’s Club Ice – FIMS MBA 2017-19). Their journeys showcased the entrepreneurial spirit nurtured at FIMS and the diverse industries where its alumni are making a mark.
This event was an inspiring testament to the entrepreneurial potential of FIMS graduates. It not only provided students with real-world insights into business creation and management but also celebrated the entrepreneurial legacy of the institute. The session served as a motivational boost for aspiring entrepreneurs and reaffirmed FIMS’s commitment to fostering innovation and leadership as it celebrates two decades of academic excellence.
