The NIPM Student Chapter of Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) organized an expert talk titled “Landing Your HR Role: Interview Preparation Session” on 20th March 2024 at 2:30 PM in the MDP Hall, FIMS. The session was designed to support MBA students in preparing effectively for interviews, particularly those aspiring to build a career in the field of Human Resource Management.
The resource person for the session was Ms. Sameera Chakeeri, Vice Chairperson of NIPM Calicut Group and Founder-Director of Growen. A proud alumna of FIMS from the MBA 2006–08 batch, Ms. Sameera brought her rich professional experience and deep industry knowledge to the discussion. She guided students through various aspects of interview preparation, including resume building, communication strategies, personal branding, and the importance of understanding organizational culture. The session was highly interactive, and students actively participated in discussions and clarified their doubts. It served as a valuable platform for bridging the gap between academic learning and corporate expectations.
