The Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) officially launched the Business Jockey (BJ) Club on 25th April 2025 at Centre Square. Dr. Ahamed Riaz. K, Director of FIMS, inaugurated the club by unveiling the official logo, marking the start of a platform dedicated to nurturing leadership, communication, and innovation among students.
The event was coordinated by Prof. Navaneetha K along with student leaders Abdulla Ibnu Jaleel, Fathima Sahna T, Zilfa, Muhammad Danish, and Shefin Ali. MBA second-semester students from Batch A and B actively participated, with Group A1 premiering the first Business Reel, showcasing creative business communication and entrepreneurial thinking.
A Social Media Contest was also launched to encourage greater student engagement. Business reels will be judged based on creativity, business insight, presentation quality, and online reach, promoting digital communication skills alongside business acumen.
Moving forward, improvements like enhanced sound systems and better event backdrops are planned. The successful launch of the BJ Club reflects FIMS’s commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and leadership among future business professionals.
