The CSR Club at Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) organized a colloquy on “Building a Healthier You” on May 31, 2024, in observance of World No-Tobacco Day. The session aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption and promote a healthier lifestyle among students.

The keynote speaker, Mr. Rangeesh Kadavath (Kerala Police), shared valuable insights on the social and health consequences of tobacco use. His talk emphasized the importance of making informed choices to lead a tobacco-free life. The session was interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and sharing their perspectives on tobacco control measures.

The event concluded with a strong message on the need for self-discipline and collective action to combat tobacco addiction. The CSR Club reaffirmed its commitment to organizing more awareness programs to promote student well-being and social responsibility.
