The FIMS QUEST Corporate Quiz, hosted on 19th June 2025 at Parisons Hall, Farook College, was a power-packed evening of knowledge, competition, and collaboration. Organized by FIMS BiziQ, the quiz club of Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS), the event brought together professionals, corporate employees, and entrepreneurs from across Kerala for a high-stakes business knowledge showdown. With an engaging format, challenging questions, and a vibrant audience, the quiz successfully blended learning with excitement.
Under the guidance of quizmaster and faculty coordinator Prof. Mansoor, the event tested participants’ awareness of current business trends, corporate affairs, and global developments. The competition featured three main rounds—Preliminary, Semi-Final, and Final—followed by audience interaction and a grand felicitation ceremony. With prizes worth ₹25,000 for the winners, ₹10,000 for the first runner-up, ₹5,000 for the second runner-up, and ₹2,000 for semi-finalists, the quiz witnessed intense participation and enthusiasm.
The event wasn’t just about prizes—it aimed to foster stronger ties between industry and academia. Participants represented esteemed organizations such as BNI Catalyst, India Post, Kerala State Cooperative Bank, Peekay Steel, SBI, Aster MIMS, and many more. The presence of these corporate players elevated the academic environment and promoted valuable professional exchange. The well-structured quiz rounds stimulated critical thinking, quick decision-making, and encouraged collaborative participation.
The team from Newton Cinema & Q Company, comprising Rakesh TP and Zaman S Khan, emerged as the proud winners of FIMS QUEST 2025, showcasing exceptional business acumen and team synergy. While the organizers noted areas for further enhancement in the semi-final round and outreach, the overall impact of the event was remarkable. FIMS QUEST achieved its mission of creating a platform where business minds collide, compete, and connect—cementing its place as one of Kerala’s premier corporate quiz events.
