The Reader’s Club of Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) successfully hosted LitQuest – Book Exhibition Inauguration on June 3, 2025, at Central Square. This unique celebration of literature and learning aimed to reignite the love for reading among students and faculty members. With the theme “Where every page begins a quest,” the event set the tone for an engaging and reflective journey into the world of books.
The exhibition was officially inaugurated at 10:45 AM and remained open till 4:30 PM. A wide range of books spanning various genres, including fiction, non-fiction, management, literature, and self-help, were displayed to encourage diverse reading habits. The aesthetically curated book stalls and interactive displays created an inspiring environment for all visitors, sparking curiosity and thoughtful conversations.
As part of LitQuest, a Book Review Competition was announced to motivate students to critically engage with literature. Participants were invited to select a book of their choice across any genre and submit a 90-second review video within a 10-day time frame. The competition not only tested their analytical thinking and presentation skills but also allowed them to express their unique perspectives creatively.
The event offered attractive cash prizes for the top three entries—₹3000 for the first prize, ₹2000 for the second, and ₹1000 for the third. LitQuest 2025 was more than a book exhibition—it was a celebration of storytelling, intellectual growth, and community engagement. The Reader’s Club of FIMS hopes to continue fostering a strong reading culture through such initiatives in the future.
