The INVICTA Marketing Club at Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) marked the beginning of its newest initiative, BrandFuse – Marketing Mentoring Series, with an inspiring inaugural session on 14th May 2025. The session, focused on Advertising & Media Management, took place at the Audio Visual Theatre, Farook College. This innovative series aims to provide students with direct exposure to the latest trends, tools, and strategies in the world of branding and marketing communication.
The chief guest for the event was Mr. Dilip Nambiar, Chief Operating Officer at World Happiness Code, a leading marketing communication agency. With a wealth of experience in brand strategy and media execution, Mr. Nambiar delivered an insightful address that resonated with both aspiring marketers and faculty members. He shared real-life campaign stories, discussed emerging trends in advertising, and emphasized the need for adaptability in a rapidly evolving media landscape.
The session provided students with a practical understanding of how brands navigate the complexities of modern advertising, including the shift towards digital platforms and data-driven content strategies. Mr. Nambiar’s interactive talk covered the nuances of media planning, consumer psychology, and creative brand messaging. His emphasis on storytelling, audience connection, and value-based branding gave students a clearer picture of how effective campaigns are built from the ground up.
The launch of BrandFuse was met with enthusiastic participation and positive feedback. Students found the session highly engaging and relevant, with many expressing newfound clarity on how classroom knowledge translates into real marketing practice. With BrandFuse now officially underway, the INVICTA Marketing Club is set to host a series of expert-led sessions designed to prepare students for the dynamic world of marketing and brand management.
