The INVICTA Marketing Club of Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) successfully organized an in-house marketing event titled adVenture on 13 May 2025 at the MDP Hall, FIMS. The event, themed “Brand it, Act it, Win it,” was designed to spark creativity and enthusiasm among MBA students, giving them a platform to test their marketing acumen in a competitive and engaging environment. With vibrant energy and healthy competition, the event drew participation from across the batches, making it one of the most anticipated club activities of the semester.

A total of 13 teams registered for adVenture, each consisting of three to four members. The first round was a challenging quiz focused on core marketing concepts, requiring participants to apply their classroom learning in real time. The top eight teams were then shortlisted for the second round, where they had to identify logos and connect them to well-known brands. This round tested the teams’ brand recall abilities and their awareness of visual marketing elements, essential skills for any aspiring marketer.

From these, four teams advanced to the final round—a creative ad-making task. Participants were given the opportunity to ideate, script, and enact original advertisements based on given products or themes. This round brought out their creativity, teamwork, and ability to pitch a brand in a compelling manner within a short time frame. Each team presented their ads with confidence and innovation, impressing both peers and faculty members. After a tight competition, the team comprising Shehin, Abdulla, Midhlaj, and Zain won the first prize, followed by Saniya, Huda, Muhsina, and Ameekha, who secured the second prize, while Jishad, Ridhan, Suhail, and Asna took home the third prize.

Events like adVenture offer students more than just entertainment—they provide real-time exposure to the world of branding, advertising, and competitive strategy. By participating, students honed their problem-solving, public speaking, and creative thinking skills, while also gaining a deeper understanding of marketing in action. The event served as a valuable experiential learning opportunity, reinforcing academic concepts in a fun and interactive format. Overall, adVenture proved to be a successful initiative by the INVICTA Marketing Club, further strengthening the spirit of marketing excellence at FIMS.
