3rd FIMS–Saxion International Conference

Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS), Kozhikode, in collaboration with Saxion University of Applied Sciences, The Netherlands, successfully hosted and concluded the 3rd FIMS–Saxion International Conference on “Innovative Management Strategies for Corporate Sustainability” on 14–15 January 2026. The two-day international conference served as a global platform, bringing together academicians, researchers, industry experts, and practitioners from various countries to deliberate on emerging management practices that promote sustainable, responsible, and future-ready corporate growth.

The conference featured eminent keynote speakers, including Dr. Moniek Kamm, Associate Lector in Circular Business Models, and Mr. Thierry Tartarin, Researcher, Business Models Research Group, who shared valuable perspectives on sustainability, circular business models, and innovation-driven management strategies. The technical sessions were enriched by distinguished speakers such as Ms. Maerhaba Yishake (Saxion University of Applied Sciences), Dr. Shab Hundal (JAMK University of Applied Sciences, Finland), Dr. K. G. Sahadevan (IIM Lucknow), Dr. Sheena Suresh (NIT Surathkal), Dr. Jacob Cornelis Bazen (Saxion University of Applied Sciences, The Netherlands), Dr. Asha K. S. Nair (Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore), and Dr. Aparna Sajeev (University of Calicut), who contributed rich academic and practical insights across multiple domains of management and sustainability.

With the presentation of more than 50 research papers, the conference fostered vibrant academic discussions, interdisciplinary research exchange, and meaningful industry–academia interaction. It provided participants with opportunities to network, collaborate globally, and explore innovative approaches to sustainability-driven management and corporate responsibility. 2nd FIMS–Saxion International Conference

Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS), Farook College, Kerala, in association with Saxion University of Applied Sciences, The Netherlands, organized the 2nd International Conference (Hybrid Mode) on “Transformation of Business for a Circular Economy” on 13th and 14th December 2023. The conference served as an important international forum for academicians, researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to discuss sustainable business transformation in a rapidly evolving global economy.

The objective of the conference was to facilitate in-depth deliberations on emerging issues across business, management, finance, entrepreneurship, supply chain, human resources, and public policy, with a focus on transitioning from traditional linear “take–make–dispose” models to circular and sustainable business practices. The event strengthened global academic collaboration and reaffirmed FIMS’s commitment to promoting sustainability-driven research, innovation, and responsible management education.

1st FIMS–Saxion International Conference

Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS), Farook College, Kerala, successfully organized the International Conference on Emerging Trends in Business & Management on 11th and 12th November 2021 as a virtual conference, in association with Saxion University of Applied Sciences, The Netherlands.
