The Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) successfully executed its essential Bridge Induction Program for the MBA 2025-27 batch, a mandatory training designed to harmonize diverse academic backgrounds and instill a professional management mindset. Recognizing that a successful MBA journey requires more than just textbook knowledge, this multi-day injection program focused intensively on critical soft skills and corporate readiness. The training provided a crucial level playing field, ensuring all newly admitted students were activated and aligned with corporate expectations before the formal curriculum began.

The program kicked off on August 30, 2025, with a high-impact session led by Mr. Mohammed Ikan, Corporate Trainer & Business Coach, on the topic: “TAKE OFF – Activation & Corporate Expectations.” This inaugural module was vital for immediately setting the professional tone and outlining the rigorous demands of the corporate world. The momentum continued on August 31, 2025, with a dual focus on professional transition and well-being. Dr. P. K. Anees, Vice Principal of Govt. Law College, Kozhikode, delivered a critical session on transitioning “From Campus to Corporate,” providing actionable guidance on career shift. This was followed by an equally important session on mental resilience, “Happy Mind for Healthy Life,” led by Dr. A P Abdul Khader, Principal, Farook College ITE & Consultant Psychologist, addressing the mental preparedness required for a demanding B-School life.

The program continued to build essential managerial competencies on September 1, 2025, featuring two distinct and crucial sessions. Ms. Sucharita Hota, a Corporate Trainer, engaged the students with the powerful module “Know Thyself: Connecting across Differences Team Building.” This training was instrumental in fostering peer bonding, improving interpersonal communication, and building effective teamwork skills—all non-negotiable for project success in the MBA program and future management roles. Furthermore, Mr. A R Vinod, Managing Partner of The Crown Theatre, Kozhikode, shared practical wisdom in the session “Beyond the Books: Practical Skills for Tomorrow’s Managers,” offering real-world perspectives that grounded the students in the practical application of management theories.

The Bridge Induction concluded on September 2, 2025, with a strong emphasis on global and ethical readiness. Mr. Suhail CP, Corporate Trainer, challenged the students with the session “Beyond Boundaries,” encouraging them to think globally and break conventional barriers in their careers. This was followed by the final essential training, “The Corporate Code: Professionalism in Action,” delivered by Mr. Vipin Raj, Corporate Trainer. This concluding module was essential for instilling the required level of professional etiquette, integrity, and ethical conduct.
