As part of the 20-year celebrations of Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS), the 4th edition of the FIMSIANS Home Coming Series titled “Reconnect: Finance Fortunes” was successfully held on 26th April 2025 at the FIMS campus. The event provided an excellent platform for alumni and students to interact, exchange ideas, and celebrate the professional achievements of our former students who are now excelling in the finance industry.
We were proud to welcome our distinguished alumni: Nandakishore M (Associate Consultant, EY), Hiba Mariyam (Tax Consultant, Deloitte), Sheik Mohammad Anees (Senior Analyst, Goldman Sachs), and Ebin Mathew (Associate Analyst II, EY). Through engaging talks and open conversations, the alumni shared their career journeys, challenges faced, skill sets required in today’s competitive world, and the evolving landscape of the finance and consulting sectors. Their real-world experiences and success stories inspired the attendees and highlighted the strong foundation that FIMS provided in shaping their careers.
The session proved to be immensely beneficial for the current MBA students, offering valuable takeaways on career planning, interview preparation, workplace skills, and the importance of continuous learning. Students also had the opportunity to network directly with the alumni, seek mentorship, and gain a better understanding of the expectations of multinational companies. Events like these not only motivate students but also build confidence and equip them with practical insights beyond the classroom.
