The Invicta Marketing Club of Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) successfully inaugurated BrandFuse – Marketing Mentoring Series Season 2 on 12 March 2026 at the MDP Hall. The session focused on the theme “Creative Brand Communication”, aiming to provide students with practical insights into modern branding strategies and marketing communication.
The programme began with a welcome address by Sujith Sebastian, Associate Professor and Marketing Club Coordinator, who highlighted the importance of industry-oriented learning and mentoring initiatives for marketing students. The presidential address was delivered by Sujata Shankaran, Deputy Director of FIMS, who emphasized the role of creativity and innovation in shaping effective marketing strategies.
The keynote session was delivered by Afthab Shoukath P. V., CEO of Xpresso Global, who shared valuable industry insights on creative brand communication. He explained how storytelling, digital platforms, and strategic messaging help brands build strong consumer connections in today’s competitive market. The event de-briefing was conducted by Mohammed Jasir P. V., Assistant Professor and Co-Coordinator of the Marketing Club, summarizing the key takeaways of the session. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Fazil, Core Committee Member of the Marketing Club.
