The Marketing Club Invicta of Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS), Farook College, organized a special programme to celebrate International Women’s Day on 9 March 2026. The event aimed to recognize the achievements and contributions of women while promoting awareness about gender equality, empowerment, and leadership. The programme brought together faculty members and students to reflect on the important role women play in shaping society and inspiring future generations.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Ahmed Riaz, Director, FIMS, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the significance of celebrating the accomplishments of women in various fields. During the event, male faculty members shared their reflections on the influence and inspiration they have received from women in their lives. Female faculty members also shared their experiences and perspectives on the stereotypes and challenges faced by women in society, creating an engaging and meaningful discussion among the participants.
As part of the celebration, two video presentations featuring female faculty members from FIMS and nearby colleges were released, where they shared their experiences and guidance for the younger generation. The programme also included fun activities and interactive games for female staff and students, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. The event served as a meaningful platform to celebrate women, share experiences, and promote a culture of respect and appreciation within the campus community.
