Currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Management from MG University, Prof. Shyama M specializes in Data Analytics and Computing, and Strategic Management. She actively integrates technology-driven approaches into management education and has completed a Faculty Development Programme on Data, Analytics and AI for Strategic Management under the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy. She is certified in the Google Data Analytics Specialization and conducts hands-on training sessions in Power BI, equipping students with industry-relevant analytical and decision-making skills. She holds a Postgraduate degree in Business Administration with specializations in Finance and Marketing from the University of Calicut and has qualified the UGC-NET for Lectureship in Management.
Prior to joining FIMS, she served as an Academic Associate at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) and the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). During her tenure at these premier institutions, she actively contributed to research initiatives, conducted research interviews, and supported academic publications. She has also undertaken research and publication work for the National Trust under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India. Beyond academia, she has served as a trainer in Employability Skills for institutions supported by the Government of Kerala, contributing to skill development and career readiness initiatives. She also conducts AI-focused sessions in educational institutions and other corporate organisations aimed at improving administrative efficiency. At FIMS, she also serves as the Coordinator of the CSR Club and Editor of the College Newsletter, actively contributing to student engagement, community outreach, and institutional development.
