The Business Quiz Club “BizIQ” at Farook Institute of Management Studies successfully organized a distinctive and intellectually stimulating event titled “Business Brain Brawl 2025 – Quiz Hard, Pitch Harder” on the 15th and 16th of May 2025. Unlike conventional quiz competitions that focus solely on answering questions, this event challenged participants to step into the shoes of a quiz master — curating, presenting, and hosting their own business-themed quiz rounds. The event provided a fresh perspective on business quizzing and brought out the leadership, creativity, and presentation skills of the participants.

The competition commenced with the preliminary round on 15th May at the MSA Hall. Starting at 3:30 PM, the prelims featured 17 enthusiastic teams, each comprising two members. These teams showcased a diverse array of questions covering business trends, brand stories, financial facts, and market movements. The energy in the room was electric as teams creatively framed questions and engaged the audience, demonstrating not only their knowledge but also their storytelling and public speaking abilities. The prelims were not only competitive but also served as a learning experience for everyone present.

The top four teams from the preliminaries advanced to the final round held on 16th May at the MDP Hall. Starting at 2:30 PM, the finals were an engaging spectacle of quiz mastery. Each finalist team was given the opportunity to present a full quiz round. The evaluation focused on multiple aspects — relevance and originality of questions, structure and flow of the quiz, audience interaction, and overall presentation. The level of preparation and professionalism displayed by the teams was commendable, turning the event into an enriching academic experience.

At the conclusion of the event, Faris Abdul Asees and Muhammed Fahis T emerged as the winners, securing the first prize and a cash award of ₹1000. The second prize of ₹500 was awarded to Fathima Riya and Shihab for their commendable performance. The event was skillfully coordinated by Ridha Rahman and Ameena Muhammed, whose behind-the-scenes efforts ensured smooth transitions, timely execution, and high participant engagement. “Business Brain Brawl – 2025” stood out as a creative leap in student-led learning initiatives and left a lasting impression on everyone who participated or witnessed it.
