The Reader’s Club of Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) organized a special event in celebration of Reader’s Day on June 19, 2025, to honor the joy of reading and to inspire students to develop a deeper connection with literature and knowledge. The highlight of the event was an engaging and thought-provoking talk by Mr. S. Sreejith, Senior Associate and Content Writer at ULCCS Ltd., who shared his insights on the importance of reading, writing, and content creation in today’s digital world.
The session was held at the FIMS Center Square and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members alike. Mr. Sreejith’s words resonated with the young audience as he encouraged them to cultivate a consistent reading habit and to view reading not just as an academic tool but as a lifelong source of inspiration, creativity, and personal growth.
Adding to the occasion was the Prize Distribution Ceremony for the Best Book Reviews, selected from entries submitted as part of the Book Review Contest that was launched during the Reader’s Club inauguration held two weeks prior. The ceremony honored the literary creativity and critical thinking of participating students. The event successfully blended reflection and celebration, reaffirming the Reader’s Club’s ongoing efforts to foster a vibrant reading culture and promote literary engagement among the FIMS community.
