The Finance Club and the NISM Student Chapter of Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) organized an Orientation Program on NISM Certification on 8 June 2026 at the MSA Hall, FIMS. The session aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of professional certifications and career opportunities in the securities and financial markets sector.
The program was led by Mr. Subhayu Das, Assistant General Manager, National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), a capacity-building initiative of SEBI. During the session, he provided detailed insights into various NISM certification programs, their relevance in the financial services industry, and how these certifications can enhance students’ knowledge, skills, and employability.
Students actively participated in the interactive session and gained valuable information about career pathways in investment management, capital markets, banking, mutual funds, and other financial services domains. The program also highlighted the growing importance of industry-recognized certifications in bridging the gap between academic learning and professional requirements.
