Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) marked a significant milestone in its commitment to industry-oriented management education with the signing of a **Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)** with the **Calicut Management Association (CMA)**. Through this partnership, FIMS was formally recognized as the **Student Chapter of CMA**, creating new opportunities for students to engage with the professional management community.
The MoU signing ceremony was held on **5 March 2026** at the Board Room, FIMS, in the presence of distinguished guests, faculty members, and student representatives. The event was graced by **Er. Ananda Mani K., President, CMA**, as the Guest of Honour. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to promoting professional excellence, leadership development, and industry-academia collaboration.
The collaboration aims to provide students with greater exposure to contemporary management practices through professional interactions, industry engagements, workshops, seminars, networking events, and leadership programmes. As a CMA Student Chapter, FIMS students will benefit from access to a wider professional network and opportunities to learn directly from industry experts and management practitioners.
