FIMS CSR Club Students Volunteer for “Fit Aano Aliya?” World Heart Day Awareness Campaign

Kozhikode | September 29, 2026

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Club of Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) actively participated in “Fit Aano Aliya?”, a public health awareness campaign organised by BuzzB and powered by Baby Memorial Hospital (BMH), Kozhikode, in observance of World Heart Day. The initiative aimed to promote cardiovascular health, physical fitness, and healthy lifestyle practices among the public.

The campaign was conducted across prominent locations in Kozhikode, including Baby Memorial Hospital, Kozhikode New Bus Stand, Lulu Mall, SM Street, and Kozhikode Beach. Through interactive fitness challenges, public awareness activities, and basic health screenings supported by medical professionals, the campaign encouraged individuals to prioritise their heart health and overall well-being.

FIMS CSR Club student volunteers played an active role in supporting the campaign through public engagement, awareness activities, volunteer coordination, and on-ground assistance. Their involvement contributed to the smooth coordination of campaign activities while providing opportunities to interact with diverse sections of the community.

The initiative offered students valuable practical exposure beyond the classroom, helping them develop essential skills in teamwork, leadership, communication, event coordination, and community engagement. It also strengthened their understanding of corporate social responsibility and the importance of contributing to meaningful social initiatives.

The participation of FIMS CSR Club students in “Fit Aano Aliya?” reflects the institution’s continued commitment to experiential learning, community welfare, and holistic student development. Through such initiatives, FIMS encourages students to become socially responsible management professionals who contribute positively to society.
